The classic Roland JD-800, from an era (the early '90s) when the analog revival had already started, and Roland implemented a digital synthesizer with analog-style controls.

The sound is classic late 80s/'early 90s Roland - crystalline, powerful, with quality effects.

The patches feature some great evolving pads, powerful basses, moody electric pianos. quasi-analog brass, lush strings, and much more.

The JD-800 could be expanded via PCM and data cards.
