L-CDX-02 Keyboard Instruments
Sample CD-ROM library

|
|
The L-CDX-02 library combines the "Keyboards
of the '60s & '70s Vol1" and "Keyboards of the '60s &
'70s Vol.2" Roland CD-ROMs for
their S-series samplers. Here's what a note in
the CD says: "The tones on this CD-ROM have been
selected from Roland's Project Series L-CDP-09 "Keyboards
of the '60s & '70s Vol1" and L-CDP-10 "Keyboards of the
'60s & '70s Vol.2"."
This is a terrific selection of all the classic
sounds of the '60s and '70s, the "staples" heard in innumerable
hits. From the Mellotron to the Rhodes, to the Clavinet,
Solina, Hammond B-3, Wurlitzer, these are all the sounds you
need if you are into classic rock and pop. |
|
If you carefully mix these with standard drum, bass and
guitar sounds, you can probably make many people think they are hearing the
"real" Mellotron, the real Hammond, and so on.
In order to use these CD-ROMs you will need a SCSI CD-ROM
drive connected to your S-series sampler or XV-5080. Keep in mind that
certain sound data will need 32MB of memory, supported only by the S-760.
The S-770 and 750 have less. |
